Something I love even more than working with our Germany travel planning clients is hearing about their trips after they’ve returned home!

That’s why today I’m talking with Anna, who went on an incredibly special 11-day trip to Germany with her mom. Not only did they visit stunning places like the Black Forest, the Moselle Valley, and Heidelberg, they also traveled back to the tiny town where Anna was born while her dad was stationed in Germany.

Anna shares what it was like to drive in Germany, sleep in a castle, revisit her childhood home, marvel at Germany’s stunning architecture, and much more. Anna also shares her tips for planning your trip and enjoying your travels in Germany.

About Anna

I was born in Germany at Hahn AFB in 1981 and I always wanted to go back and visit to see where I was born!! So mom and I decided to finally make it happen and we planned an 11 day trip that superseded my expectations! Not only did we find our old house and see where the hospital once stood, we were able to explore some other areas like the Black Forest and Heidelberg! We hope to go back again and explore some more of this beautiful country! You’ll find Anna on Instagram here.
