Yes, the city is very walkable! A lot of the main things to do in Nuremberg are in the old town so you can easily explore many of the main on foot. We only took public transit to visit the Palace of Justice and the Nazi Party Rally Grounds.

How many days should you spend in Nuremberg?

We recommend 2 days to see Nuremberg and 3 if you’d like to do a day trip. While many of the tourist attractions are in the Old Town, some other sites like the Documentation Center, Nazi Party Rally Grounds, and Palace of Justice are further out so if you want to include these sights, you might need another day.

Where is Nuremberg in Germany?

Nuremberg is located in the state of Bavaria, in the south of Germany.

Is Nuremberg worth visiting?

Yes! Nuremberg is definitely worth visiting and adding to your Germany itinerary.
