We absolutely loved Villa Vie! The room was large and provided comfortable amenities (bed, chaise lounge). Our room had a castle/river view which was breathtaking! They have tons of wine to take to your room or share on the patio that overlooks the river / castle.

Room was clean, staff was very kind. Breakfast was delicious. Location is also great with a nice view. You can have a nice walk to the city center near the river. I really enjoyed the contemporary design if the hotel, a mix of both vintage and modern. Also, they have box games, pens and papers for kids in the lobby.

The view of the castle from our room was jaw dropping. The rooms were very cozy and clean. We stayed at 5 total hotels on our trip through Germany and this hotel had the best, most fresh breakfast.

A wonderful location just a short walk down the river and away from the center of the city. The property has gorgeous views of the river and the castle, and places to view both (including a lovely front porch, where they supply blankets in case it is chilly outside). My favorite parts were the room--enormous, and mine had a charming little alcove with a comfy chair and incredible views, as well as the honor bar and games. After our evening out, my companion and I met in the living room and enjoyed a bottle of wine and a game they supplied to finish the evening. It was perfect.

The room was awesome with exquisite details, the breakfast buffet was tasty and had a little of everything, the location was perfect and in walking distance to all of the sites, but most importantly, the scenery was beautiful. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Overall, it was just an excellent experience.

Just an amazing Mom and Pop small hotel. We looked at the posts of others here and it was a blend of the new and the old. Julien and his wife put their hearts and souls into everything here and it shows! As a former hotelier myself, I know what goes into getting 5 ⭐ reviews and everyone of those stars is earned here. The breakfast was wonderful. At night we just wrote down the wine we drank and snacks we had in the kitchen. A nice honor system. You'll feel the same after staying here.
